365 Project Day 15 – Roses Are Red

by

Red Roses

I think I took about 50 photographs of these roses. I couldn’t get the roses to be in focus while the other things were in focus. Then I got the roses in focus but everything else was really out of focus. There were times when I couldn’t get close enough or was too far away and I’d get random things in the background. It’s interesting. But proof I have a long way to go.

I don’t know where I learned this, but focus on one thing, say the rose petals, by pushing your shutter half down. Keeping your finger on the (picture taking) button, move our camera and center your picture the way you want it, then push the button all the way down to take the picture. The camera stays focused on the first thing you focused on!

That’s my favorite thing to play with 🙂
