It’s just that no one really seems to know what Dad really wants.  Today I’m the featured writer at Enough Time Moms and I’d love for you to check out what real dads want for Father’s Day. Please join me and share favorite gifts of years past as well as what the men in your life will get this year for Father’s Day.

Tips For Staying Organized In The Summer

It’s easy to let the house become disorganized in the summer. With the kids and their friends in and out all day, games and toys being played with and needing to stay out and all the clothes and gear from camp and being outdoors, it’s easy to just throw your hands up and say forget it! But summer doesn’t have to be a time of disorganization and throwing the rules out the window. Summer is the perfect time to ease in to new ways for the kids to help and teach (or re-teach) how to keep the house in order.

Whether you’re planning family time into your summer or putting together family vacation plans being organized is probably the easiest way to make it through the heat and humidity. Join me at Enough Time Moms to learn, share and discuss how you keep your family and home organized in the summer without losing your sanity.

No alarm clocks waking the kids, endless sleepovers, camp, swimming and fun pretty much defines summer. Although, for many summer can be as scheduled and busy as the school year. Either way, we’re once again left with few opportunities to just hang out as a family. You dont’ need a staycation or a fun-filled family vacation to make family time a priority.

So how to get started planning family time into your summer? Join me at Enough Time Moms to learn, share and discuss ways to create summer fun around family focused time.

What Is a MOMcation and How Do I Book One?

Remember those vacations you used to take when you were single? You know, the ones that were all about YOU. Where there were no low-blood-sugar-having spouse, the whiny kids belonged to someone else and if you wanted to sleep until noon no one would wake you because they were starving? I’ll give you a moment to reminisce.

As the featured blogger on Enough Time Moms I bring to light the wonders of the MOMcation – the very real mom getaway wihout kids or spouse. I recently had a discussion with some friends about wanting to book a room at a local resort just to finish up work that keeps getting put off, work on Inbox Zero, and just be. I hope you will join me at Enough Time Moms and share with me your thoughts and experiences on MOMcations.

Vacation Planning: Tips For Dining Out

BabyGirl Swimming

One of my biggest vacation planning challenges is what to do about food. While we’re very fortunate not to have major allergy or sensitivity issues, just the entire food part can be trying at times. Even if you’re planning a Disney World Vacation, the options start to get overwhelming very fast. What’s worse is when you’ll be “winging it” when it comes to food.

On my trip to Italy, we had a number of meals included so that cut down on a lot of the planning. But for those meals on our own, the choices quickly became overwhelming. (which is why it was good to have a gelato stand every few blocks!)

As the featured blogger on Enough Time Moms I share with you some tips and tricks for helping to make dining out while on vacation more manageable. I know many of you have come up with plans that work for your family and I’d love to hear how you take the stress out of dining out while traveling.

Is There Really Such Thing As A Clutter-Free Life?

Junk Drawer

After 10 days in Italy, seeing homes that would fit in my garage I thought a lot about ‘stuff’ which I have in cupboards, cabinets and closets. Today I’m the featured writer at Enough Time Moms and I’m sharing a few ways to help you make a clutter free life.
