Disney’s Secret of the Wings Now Available on DVD and Blu-Ray

by

The newest release in the Disney Fairies series, Secret of the Wings introduces a few new fairies. Most of us are familiar with Tinker Bell and her fairy friends Rosetta, Silvermist, Fawn and many others. This time, Disney brings to life an entirely new cast of fairies along with a beautiful tale of love, friendship and sisterhood.

Journey with Tinker Bell and her fairy friends into the forbidden world of the mysterious Winter Woods, where curiosity and adventure lead Tink to an amazing discovery and reveals a magical secret that could change her world forever.

A magical fairy adventure for the whole family, “Secret of the Wings” features a spectacular voice cast including Academy Award®-Winner Anjelica Huston (“Prizzi’s Honor”) as Queen Clarion, Timothy Dalton (“Chuck,” “The Living Daylights”) as Lord Milori, Lucy Liu (“Southland,” “Charlie’s Angels”) as Silvermist, Raven-Symoné (“That’s So Raven”) as Iridessa, Megan Hilty (“Smash”) as Rosetta the Garden Fairy, Pamela Adlon (“Californication”) as Vidia, Matt Lanter (“90210”) as Sled, Debby Ryan (Disney Channel’s “Jesse”) as Spike, Mae Whitman (“Parenthood”) as Tinker Bell, and introducing the sparkling new winter fairy, Periwinkle, voiced by Lucy Hale (ABC Family’s “Pretty Little Liars”).

BabyGirl and I were invited to a screening of Secret of the Wings. She truly loves fairies (still) and meeting Periwinkle was especially sweet because that’s a nickname that has been used for her. We were both amazed by the animation and how beautiful and captivating it was. Disney really did bring Pixie Hollow and Winter Woods to life.

Disney’s Secret of the Wings is available in several formats – DVD, Blu-Ray, and Blu-Ray 3D. The movie is available October 23, 2012 and there is a $5 Secret of the Wings coupon you can print and take to your local retailer. The various formats can be ordered from Amazon as well.  Prices range from $16.99 and up depending on what you’re getting.

Affiliate links are used in this post. Amazon prices can change at any time. The screening was for press and was provided to me at no cost and without obligation. All opinions are mine or BabyGirl’s.
