Enough Time Moms: Is Glitz and Glamour Still Possible?

When was the last time you got dressed, did your hair and put on makeup. Just because it was Tuesday? Not because you had to be somewhere, just because you felt like it. Remember those days where it was’t a chore?

makeup imageI go through phases where I dress as if I’m going to an office job, rather than just working at home. Sure, I do errands and meet people most days. But the idea of ‘glitz and glamour’ is more like a special occasion than every day. Really, though, shouldn’t it be about looking and feeling our best?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Glitz and Glamour after motherhood.

  1. I absolutely love this post! One thing I’ve found to be glamourous is to get all dolled up for new photos. The photos end up being for a professional headshot to promote something, be featured somewhere or just an updated photo. It seems to turn into a day of fun though! However, I like to go the extra mile and do some serious prep work for the photos, ie: waxing, getting my hair done, etc. It turns out to be a week of fun and you get something in return!
