I’m not a regular coffee drinker. Never have been. But I’ve always had coffee on hand for guests. And since I don’t drink coffee daily it was hard for me to know what was the right kind of coffee. Then Starbucks started selling coffee and I’d just buy some of theirs since most people drink it daily. I figured if it was good for that many millions of people then surely my friends would like it.
Recently, Starbucks made it easier for me (and millions of others) to figure out which roast they liked most. The Starbucks Roast Spectrum simplifies coffee buying for both the uninitiated and the pro. And for me, that’s definitely a good thing. I feel good knowing that I can give my guests coffee that’s to their liking too. I also like knowing the intensity of the coffee I’m using when I incorporate it into baking.
I thought I’d share this little video with you about the roasting. I just love the fun and passion the two gentlemen have for the job as a master roaster.
So, here’s the fun. Besides giving my readers to enter a little giveaway to receive their own tasting kit, Starbucks is running a huge sweepstakes where one winner will be able to take 3 friends (you’ll take me if you win, right?) to Seattle for a personal tasting experience at the original Starbucks location. How cool is that? You can enter the Starbucks Find The Roast You Love Most Sweepstakes online or via smartphone using QR codes on packaging and signage.
Now that you’ve entered the big Starbucks Sweepstakes, you can enter my promotion!
