Hall & Oates Emergency Help Line

by

Hall & Oats

UPDATE #2: As of 3/12/2013 the help line is back! The song choices and options are different but STILL!

UPDATE: I checked the phone number 6/2/2012 and found it to be disconnected, which is a bummer!

Yes, it’s for real! And just in time for the holidays! And because I know y’all really just need a diversion from whatever you’re doing now (or should be doing), I wanted to share this with you.

And, yes, I’ve called it myself. The ‘Call & Oates’ Emergency Help Line as it is known, will give you your immediate Hall & Oates fix no matter where you are.

Dial  719-26-OATES (62837) and you’ll get a message that you’ve reached the Hall & Oates emergency helpline and will be given an option of four different songs to choose from – “One on One,” “Rich Girl,” “Maneater,” and “Private Eyes.” Once you’ve selected your song it will play, in full, then disconnect.

There is no information on the official Hall & Oates website about it (and their site is a bit out of date anyway), so I’m not sure who set it up. It is a prefix from Colorado so it will likely be a long distance call, so keep that in mind.
