As part of a paid promotion for their “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, Cheerios® is sponsoring my post today about what my ultimate family vacation would be. Read mine, Enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to actually win your own fantasy family trip or one of a bunch of other great prizes.

Writing about my Ultimate Family Vacation after returning from a 10-day trip to Walt Disney World seems, well, odd. For many people it would appear that I’ve just been on my Ultimate Family Vacation. But, as you may know if you’ve been reading for awhile, my heart is in France. And while moving to France is my Ultimate Someday, my Ultimate Family Vacation actually isn’t about France.

What? Have I gone mad? If I want to LIVE in France wouldn’t I want to VACATION in France? Sure, I would want to vacation there. But we’re talking FAMILY vacation and even though BabyGirl and CycleGuy would fully support my Ultimate Someday, I’m not sure going to France would be their Ultimate Family Vacation.

10 days at Walt Disney World was an awesome vacation, don’t get me wrong. Riding roller coasters, experiencing thrill rides, hearing BabyGirl laugh on ‘kid rides’ like Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh, and being Family of the Day at Animal Kingdom sure do make it a top-notch vacation.

But we’re talking ULTIMATE here. So I’m thinking it should be out of the world spectacular for everyone and allow us to experience fantasticness beyond all fantasticness.

I’d want to take CycleGuy and BabyGirl on a month-long excursion around the world. Why limit ourselves to 4 Disney parks when there are so many more. We’d go to Disneyland, Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Resort. We’d experience not only the wonders of Disney but take time to see the beauty of each location – Paris (well, a lot more actually!), Hong Kong and Tokyo.

There would be Disney magic, but also time to take in the smells, tastes, sights and sounds of each local area. I’d feel like Tinkerbell flitting around, sprinkling pixie dust. I know my family would have a blast!

My grandparents traveled extensively, so I’ve lived through their travels. It’s hard to determine what my Ultimate Family Vacation would be, because there is so much of the world to see. But for now, I know that this around the world with Disney trip would surely qualify as my current Ultimate Family Vacation!

Don’t forget to enter the “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, for a chance to win your own ultimate family vacation. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.
