Random Acts of Kindness Challenge – Day 10: Smile

by

Welcome to Day 10 of the Random Acts of Kindness Challenge. I’m thrilled at the number of people who have decided to join me and Valerie in our goal to find small but meaningful ways to spread kindness. If you haven’t already grabbed our button, please do so and let everyone know you’re doing your part to make each day as nice as can be not just for you but for others as well.

Have you ever wondered how powerful a smile can be? Those little upward curves at the edge of your mouth can change your day. And that of a complete stranger. A smile is often the first thing someone will notice about you.

If you smile, it’s difficult to feel down or sad. Imagine what your smile can do for someone else? It costs nothing to smile. It rewards you immensely.

Often we walk past others, going about our day focusing on our own issues. But almost always we’ll stop when we notice a child smiling. It immediate makes our heart happy. It makes us happy,

We, too, hold this power within us. Offer a smile, brighten your day and that of a total stranger!

Have you ever been feeling down and someone smiled at you and it made you fell even the slightest bit better? Has your smile been contagious? Let me know how your smile has made a difference to you and those you encounter every day.

Sara
