Tips for Improving Family Communication

CycleGuy and I have been married 17 years and have been together over 25 years. In that time, we’ve gone through various degrees of communication. I often joke that I can read his mind. But the truth is, if good communication was as easy as mind-reading we’d all be working on becoming mind readers. Visit me over at Enough Time Moms and join the discussion on how to improve family communication.

Every new year brings an opportunity to finally do those things we’ve been putting off. So we sit down and write out a list of all the things we want to cross off a so-called bucket list. Often, we set ourselves up for failure because we just write down those things that we think we should have done or wished we’d done. But this year is going to be different!

Join me over at Enough Time Moms to learn how to set Realistic Resolutions. No more laundry list of random. Create an achievable list to help you be successful.

Enough Time Moms: I’m Dating My Husband, Again

Date night! Does the thought of going out, alone, with your spouse, cross your mind? Sure it does! Remember, we all used to do it. Dating. The getting dressed up. Going to a movie, a play, dancing. Oh, nostalgia!

After kids though, about the only time for date night is somewhere between 2 and 4 am. So, does sleep count? Why is it that we can plan a playdate with the deft touch of a ninja yet when it comes to date night it’s as if we’re unable to even read a calendar?

I am the featured blogger on Enough Time Moms today and I’d love if you’d share your thoughts on date night!
